Easy-Scan

Easy-Scan C50 is a proven crosscut scanner that can automatically detect knots, wane, splits and other major wood defects on the two faces of the boards. Random board width scanning is possible. The Easy-Scan features multi-scale vision scanning, laser profiling, encoder based measurement, Windows environment, and built-in network connections. The scanner can be integrated with existing optimizing saws (built on or after 1997), any brands.

The benefits of the scanner include decreased labor costs, increased yield, consistent throughput, and increased flexibility since the cutting/grading rules can be quickly and easily modified.

Inline integration : as standard, a cross buffer is placed between the scanner and the chop saw. Easy-Scan is also available as an In-Line scanner, for replacing existing crayon mark reading stations.
