The R200 is a 2 sided Rip Scanner providing defect detection and rip optimization. This system is based on 2 multi-scan cameras for defect detection, upgradable with additional cameras for color inspection or skip detection.

The scanner may support one or two rip saws (R200 / R400 model). A cross-transfer is usually needed for board distribution between the scanner and one or two ripsaws. LuxScan can work with your materials handling provider.

The R200 can also be used to grade wide parts such as panels. The unit would control sorting or identifactions system to identify material based on grading criteria.

The benefits of the scanner include decreased labor costs, increased yield, high productivity and consistent throughput. Moreover, the customer gains flexibility since the cutting / grading rules can be quickly and easily modified.
